Final Cut Server

On Friday we started to get a briefing from Matt about the Final Cut Server. How to use it, what is important to make the film together. The Final Cut Server are useful for cut scene and but them together as a film. It is important that you cut the science that they make sense and not just like cut all the science and out them together.

Continuity Editing is the predominant style of editing in narrative cinema and television. The purpose of continuity editing is to smooth over the inherent discontinuity of the editing process and to establish a logical coherence between shots. It means to use the Continuity so that it makes sense if you put the sense together to the audience. In most films, logical coherence is achieved by cutting to continuity, which emphasizes smooth transition of time and space. Some films incorporate cutting to continuity into a more complex classical cutting technique, one which also tries to show psychological continuity of shots. The montage technique relies on symbolic association of ideas between shots rather than association of simple physical action for its continuity.
We started to use a whit short to show all the scene that the audience get to know what is in there happened. To get the scene you want you have to cut the scene by press the button “i” for start and to end the scene you has to press “o” after that you have the scene which you want. After that you can make the scene together with other scene and put them so together that the science makes sense together. Or you can get more information in that for example you get a close up to the mouth when it is important what he or she is saying. If you start filming a film it is important to get a story board because you have to make sure that you have all shorts which you want and that you have different shorts to make the movie more interesting that you don’t see the hole movie just from a white short.
